As always Nico's birthday falls on Super Bowl Weekend. This year we went instead of having a party at the house we went to Santa Cruz instead. It was fun! Nico had a great time. Afterward we hit one of my favorite sushi spots and had yogurt for dessert.
For the Superbowl as with most big games Nico and I watched it over at Ceasar's house. He has a big screen TV and is a great host. It was an exciting game and since I had not interest in the outcome I let slide the questionable officiating.
Sunday morning Nico, Candida and I ran the Kaiser Permanente Half Marathon. It was their first. Candida did great and averaged 11m16s miles. Nico ran race support with Candida. It was my first race event with my Stanford Tri Team. We did great and had a really great showing. I ran it in 1 hour 35 minutes. Afterwards we had Brunch at the Beach Chalet. It was a beautiful day so the view was great.
